Welcome. This is the Dean Dimebag Dixie Rebel Electric Guitar. 24.75" scale length. 1.70" nut width. .80" depth at 5th fret. 8.1 lbs. With all the current controversy surrounding the rebel flag, it is only a matter of time until Dean stops production on these. Anyone familiar with Dime knows the man didn't have a hateful bone in his body, the graphic was chosen as a nod to his southern pride and his Rebel guitars were always a favorite of his. Dimebag did it his way, all the way, as any true original does. And this is what Dean Guitars has always done, too. Combining stellar designs, killer finishes, and God-like tones, Dean defines what a hard rock guitar is. The body has a radical razor body type but highly stylized and angular. The mahogany body is super-resonant and loud; bathed in slick Confederate Flag graphics. The acoustic projection of this Rebel is superb, but when let loose through the Dean USA and Duncan humbuckers this Rebel really shows its colors. The Dean USA DMT DimeTime humbucker (complete with electrical tape) lives in the neck position and produces warm, thick tones while retaining clarity and note articulation. And the bridge position Seymour Duncan Dimbucker is hot but musical, producing long signing sustain and tight crunchy tones. An amazingly sensitive pickup that responds to changing in pick dynamics and attack - superb for fast picking. The neck of the Rebel has a thin C profile for supreme playability and tone. The slick board is adorned with a razor blade proudly inlayed at the 12th. Wrapping it all up is a Floyd Rose 1000 for squeals, divebombs, and general harmonic mayhem. This killer guitar even comes with an official hardshell case. The Dean Dimebag Rebel Guitar is a sure way to let everyone know you're gonna kick it your way.
