This listing is for a really cool Vintage 1950's Rickenbacker D-16 Double Neck Electric Lap Steel Guitar. This Lap Steel Slide-Hawaiian guitar was made in the USA by Rickenbacker in the early 1950's. The Lap Steel has two 8 string necks on a metal body with bakelite necks. The instrument also has a very cool and unique layered design so the necks are not on the same height as each other. The instrument is all original as best I can tell and comes with the original case which is unfortunately in poor condition. The pickups and electronics are working fine and sound really good. The lap steel is in nice shape but does have some wear on the metal body. The case is missing the handle and is in poor and fragile condition but will protect the instrument in shipping. Please look at the pictures and email with questions. I am happy to ship internationally but will not falsify customs documents. Thanks for looking,,
