Vintage: Wirklich wunderschöne Mandoline, neapolitanische Bauweise, USA ca. 1900-20 – siehe Zettel bzw. head-sign/-logo! im sehr (sehr) Zustand (dies trotz Lack-Abnutzungen vom Plektrum auf der Decke und vom Gürtel auf der Muschel)! Sie ist sehr viel gespielt worden, was ja für sie spricht! Mit Originalkoffer! * Sie ist abgebildet und beschrieben in George Gruhn & Walter Carter „Acoustic Guitars & other Instruments – A Photographic History“, S. 68! * Ein echtes Sammler-Stück und dazu noch gut spielbar und klingt super!
Antik & original USA um 1900-20 ! Unbelievable: Nice, vintage mandolin - bowl-back. Label:: “The Washburn - best in the world…“; USA about 1897-1910! * Built like a Neapolitan/ Italian one! * The number “… /96/…” is handwritten and I can´t read it exactly. The back is superb with 34+2 ribs; 18+ 2 frets! With many beautiful ornaments (mother of pearl), beautiful binding & beautiful back - and a really wonderful – fingerboard: all over mother of pearl !!! Condition: The closed tuners – buttoms of MOP! - work well and the neck is (perfectly) straight! Some signs from using & strumming to the varnish at top and back (see pics)! One (hairline) crack at the top, running from tailpiece to the bridge. * Wonderful sound - warm and bright! * Including the original (?) wooden case! Nearly the same mandolin is described in G. Gruhn and W. Carter „Acoustic Guitars & other Instruments - A Photographic History“, page 68! vintage:
