Up for grabs is an original 1959 Fender Duosonic loaded pickguard. Just screw this on to your body and you're ready to rock. The original anodized gold is gone from the front of the guard ,but is present on the back. My guess is it started showing wear and a previous owner just rubbed the rest off of it. There are companies that reanodize pickguards at very reasonable rates if the buyer desires. I opted to leave it like it was when I was using it. These pickups sound GREAT! Original black bottom pre cbs great! They have their original factory 1959 windings. The pickups have perfect (average for the period) readings. They still have their rubber "donut" factory spacers. The pots are dated the 47th week of 1959. The only non original parts of this loaded guard are the pickup covers.  The original Bakelite ones turned to dust.  Originals can be had on eBay if desired. I misplaced the screws , so no screws will be included. What you see is what you get. The two necks in the last picture are obviously not included. I used this guard on a 1959 duosonic for years. It always sounded great and this guard never let me down. The neck from that guitar will be listed here on eBay soon. The original body is long gone (it was cut up and modded). I eventually used a later body with this guard and the 59 neck. Feel free to make a reasonable offer. I hope someone can use this as I hate to part it out. If it doesn't sell I may be forced to do so. The individual parts would go over a grand. Payment due within 3 days. Sold as is
