This rarity, having just turned 100 years old this past week, is a fabulous example of Gibson’s most unique Top Line model they’ve ever produced, this ultra cool Style U Harp Guitar, its wonderful Red Mahogany Sunburst Top finish covers a spectacular wide grain spruce top w/a see-thru Red finished maple back & sides, it has a 6 string 3 piece Mexican mahogany guitar & harp necks w/12 sub-bass strings having Gibson’s famous pearl inlaid scroll built into the body, “The Gibson” script logo, 3-on-a-side engraved tuners, bound oval sound hole w/a beautiful rosette, really clean original tortoise’gard with 2 metal support brackets (1 is missing), ebony saddle/maple bridge, nickel plated extension bridge support having tortoise string retainers, this is the most original & crack free example we have ever had, its dead original w/no touchup nor repairs ever, its finish is really clean & can be buffed shinier but we like it better having all of its slight age imperfections, it comes complete with its original key for the harp strings, original tooled leather strap, copy of the original catalog page description all in its clean original black Tolex shaped hard case, they don’t come any better.   Please E Mail or call us for any other information needed on this rare guitar @ 954-385-8488.
