1964 Gibson SG Special, original finish, heavy checking, original P-90 pickups, knobs and electronics. Frets appear to be original and have some wear but are still fully functional and play well. Neck is straight with no dead spots or buzzes. Bridge changed in late 60's / early 70's to a Hagstrom tremolo and dog bone bridge. Tuners also changed. Not sure what brand they are but they work very well. I bought this guitar as a possible restoration but recently bought a couple amps so I must sell it. I did purchase a repro bridge from MojoAxe and was going to either have top restored (filled and matched) which was going to cost around $400, or find something to cover the hole from the replacement bridge. Other option was to just keep replacement bridge on, but I like instruments original. I will include both the 60's Hagstrom bridge (which sell for $200+) and the replacement Mojo Axe bridge so you can make the choice which direction you want to go. Some of the 64 SG's are going for $8,000 - $8500 - Here's your chance to own a nice vintage Gibson for far less! All sales final so please ask any questions before bidding.
