Selling my beloved 1978 (serial number 1992761) Ludwig Black Beauty 5x14 snare drum.The drum includes all original parts except the drum heads.Original P-85 strainer, snare wires etc. are all there.The drum is in great vintage condition, well played but taken care of.Slight lacquer rub-offs on the shell as expected for a well played drum of this age.  The only real problem one might consider is the heavy pitting (loss of chrome) on the bottom hoop which has absolutely no interaction with tuning and tone.It is a cosmetic issue that has occurred for reasons beyond me.It's an easy fix either re-chroming it or buying a new hoop or a vintage one from the bay.The drum sounds AMAZING.Glad to answer any questions.Happy New Year to all.John
