Up for sale is a Paxman 25A New World French Horn! Here is information on the Model 25 from the Paxman website:The model 25 incorporates Paxman’s innovative Dual Bore system, where the F side of the horn uses a larger cylindrical bore. This opens out the F side, giving it a similar resistance to the shorter Bb side and allowing the player to push the air through in the lower register.Both models feature independent tuning slides for both sides of the horn. Apart from the obvious benefit of this, it enables the player to add an extension for a manually operated A/stopping valve. The mouthpipe is fitted with a waterkey as standard. The thumb lever is easily reversible to stand in either F or Bb.The horn has several small dings on the bell area and the bell itself as a small crease on the very edge of one side (see photos). The valves are very smooth and the all of the slides move freely. I do not have the equipment to test compression, but if it does not meet your expectations you are free to return it. I just had the horn go through and ultra sonic cleaner and it is ready for a new home!The horn comes with a hard case (not pictured). It does NOT include a mouthpiece. I do accept returns for 14 days and return shipping is the responsibility of the buyer. Shipping is $60, and this covers shipping, materials, and insurance. I take extreme care in packaging horns that I sell and get them packaged and out of the door under 24 hours!Why buy from me?
