Banjo is in good vintage condition with some scratches, tarnish, etc consistent with an instrument of this age.The armrest has had a repair as the pictures show. The dates inscribed inside the pot as best as I can tell are Jan 10, 1893 and July 27, 1909. I believe the serial number is 39174. The original hard shell case exterior is worn but is still very functional. I am a keyboard player not a strings player so its difficult for me to describe this banjo in detail.
