18 years under this one's belt.  Beautiful USA Strat.  Players grade on this one.   1998 Corona California built Stratocaster Deluxe in the rarely seen Teal Green Transparent stain.Overall very nice condition!  It's got that not been locked in a case my whole life, mojo but hardly any battle scars.  It oozes "been around the block but avoided a lot of fights". Some pick scratches on the top of the body, some minor bumps/rubs and some rash on the back but I'd say less than you'd expect for an 18 year old players Strat. Most of the wear needs to be in the right light/angle to see.     It is aging gracefully.  Teal Green stain on the Ash body looks killer. The loaded pickguard is not original to the guitar but "period correct" taken off of a 2001 Fender Players Deluxe American Stratocaster.  USA Fat Super Strat pickups in this one. This type of pickup is rare, because it was made exclusively for these guitars and its production stopped after they were replaced by noiseless pickups. It has a killer sound. Gold screws not chrome used for the pickups and switch.  Purchase includes a mint condition Aged White pickguard to return this to the original color combination if you wish. (matches rear tremolo cover color).  It's a USA 2012 guard with protective plastic still on.The pickup configuration has a push button switch, which engages the bridge pickup at any position introducing two new pickup configurations on top of the five standard stratocaster positions:Position 5 with the switch on: bridge and neck pickups in parallel for a hollow sound like that of a telecaster in the mid position.Position 4 with the switch on: all pickups in parallel giving a unique glassy sound.
