Vintage 1979 Fender Stratocaster Electric Guitar.A clean example of a hard tail strat that plays and sounds amazing!  Just like the one Sting used on Dream of the Blue Turtles.  A nice light example for a Fender from this era weighing in at  7lb 11 oz!  It's really hard to find a Strat or Tele that weighs less than 8 lbs from this era, especially a hard tail.Has a fat, chunky neck that feels amazing.  It fills up your palm in just the right kind of way.  Playability is excellent all the way up and down with a tight, low action and smooth feel in every position.Original pickups sound amazing and have that classic Strat tone. They are super warm, clear and focused with a spanky attack.  Has a deep, round low end and a glassy, crisp treble that bites like a Tele.  Really a fantastic sounding guitar.Excellent condition with signs of normal, honest cosmetic wear when viewed upon close inspection.  It has some light belt buckle wear on the back, some pick wear on the top and one small ding right near the bottom strap button on the top.  All signs of wear are hard to see when you are more than about 6 feet away thanks to the black finish.  A played but well cared for example.Comes with the original hard shell case.
