Wow! I have had a ton of custom shop Strat's but i rarely see one pop up with lipstick Tube pick-ups. Made for one year only and very collectible. The body is alder for good tone. The 25.5 inch scale maple neck features a 9.5 inch radius rosewood fingerboard with 22 frets and dot inlays. A trio of Lipstick Tube Pick-ups dish out big tones. The finish is a very nice thin skin Candy Apple Red Finish, and is set off by an upgraded white pickguard and a matching red head-stock. Man, this thing looks cool. Original Custom Shop stamped neck pockets. This Fender Was recently Purchased from a large collection of Pristine and Rare Guitars. Consequently this Guitar (Despite having the typical thin Skin finish Streaks) is in Mint Condition.This Strat plays and sounds fantastic. The modern C shape neck is comfortable. The frets are full showing no wear. The action is low. A nice guitar. The Lipstick Tube pickups are clear and powerful. Great with effects. A cool modern yet retro guitar. Condition wise. This has seen Virtually no use. Collector owned and picked up on the rare occassion to admire for a quick strum.It shows some age related Nitrocellouse Checking which is to be expected with the factory applied thin skin Finish. This further mimics the feel of the1959 Strat which this guitars does so effortlessly to replicate. Comes in the Fender hardshell G&G case with some case candy. Unfortunatley the COA has been misplaced, but i have an email from Fender authenticating its originality.This is an outrageously cool and rare instrument. Perhaps one of a kind and an incredible addition to your collection. I'm a huge Strat fan so this was a cool find for me. A new Custom Shop Strat will cost well over £2200.
