Harmony Rocket H59Harmony Rockets were made in the USA in the sixties with one, two or threepickups and this one is the top of the range - the H59 model. If you played rock and rollguitar in the USA in the sixties, the Rocket was a must! The body is in the sought after red with full body binding and with a white Harmonyscratchplate  - great colour combination. There are three De Armond goldfoil pickupswith chrome surrounds and wooden bases, and these each have volume and tone controls, with ''cupcake'' original knobs plus a four-way pickup selector switchnear the single cutaway. The six knobs are arranged around the edge of the guitarwhich is another great looking feature. The trapeze tailpiece is original and the bridge which has a wooden base has areplaced top with adjustable saddles; the original top would have been a simplewooden one.The neck is bolted on by means of three inset screws, and there is a twenty fretrosewood fingerboard which shows some wear but no more than would beexpected after fifty years or so and it does a good job. The headstock has the ''Harmony Rocket'' logo and three on a side tuners, which are replacements butprobably better ones than the originals. This is a very nice guitar - it has hardly a mark on it and is a pleasure to play;hard to find nowadays.Any questions please call or text to 07544 887582 or email.
