Appoximately only 200 of the Ovation Storm Series "Hurricane" 12 string models were made. This one ,serial # A 191 indicates it was made somewhere between July-November 1968. This is a pristine example of the semi hollow guitar with a beautiful flame maple back, maple sides and spruce top. I can't find a scratch anywhere! All parts are original, including the Kluson tuners and pickups. The neck is a 4 bolt maple and I believe has a tilt adjustment under the back plate. Action could be a little better and I think a little tweaking of that tilt adjustment would help. The neck appears to be pretty straight overall.Metal tailpiece could use a little polishing. Interestingly, the selector switch in the up position turns on the bridge pickup and vice versa! Volume and Tone controls follow suit. Comes with excellent HSC.
