Hello, Heres a 2015 Gibson Les Paul Special that's been converted into a single pickup model with a "nod and a wink" to Billie Joe and Greenday.  OK, where to begin?...... First we have deepened the bridge rout and installed a Billie Joe double stack H90, then constructed a custom made pickguard to cover the neck pickup rout and toggle switch hole, The pickguard is a tiny bit larger than the normal one. We laser engraved and painted red a Greenday "shockman" logo on it for fun. The robot tuners were replaced with Klusons, and the rather garish "LES PAUL 100" autograph was painted over on the headstock and replaced with the usual Les Paul Special script waterslide decal, then clear-coated (it looks so much cleaner). On the back side of the headstock the serial # was painted in before the clear-coat went on along with a Billie Joe autograph decal. We kept the Les Paul hologram there for identification.   The control cavity PCB board was removed and replaced with a fifties wiring harness. (theirs a tiny ding near that area but its very small).  OK, so over all, we have taken a Gibson 2015 doublecut, that not many people liked because of the shrill, spikey sounding P90s that came standard, the over the top "Les Paul 100" signature on the headstock, the robot tuners and PCB board,... and modified it into what we hope you will agree is a pretty badass looking junior! Got rid of the gold plastic case as well, and replaced it with a proper Gibson "reptile tolex, white fur-lined hardshell case.  A awful lot of time and money went into this build, and if your a Greenday fan, hopefully you will appreciate those little extra touches as well.  By the way, she plays easy, and sounds great too!  Thanks for checking out the guitar and reading all this.
