TRAYNOR YCS90 2x12 90 watt class A/B or 25 watt class A guitar amp.  Just gone over by the best amp techs here in town.  Looks great!  Sounds great!  I had the pots cleaned, solder joints checked, bias set on the new tubes, she was gone over with a fine tooth comb by an authorized Traynor repair shop (Abell Audio here in Cowtown, OH), she has got no buzzes or pops or hisses at ALL, and all the pilot lights (on the amp & pedal) gleam.  The pedal works great switching channels and engaging the boost: she does everything as well as she did on the day she was made.  BTW: with a 2nd similar 2 button stereo cabled pedal you could turn the reverb and FX loops off & on.Plz note - The 7 digit serial number on modern Canadian made Traynors read as follows: the first three numbers are the "manufactured on" date code.  On this particular amp the first 3 digits "802" mean this was made in February of 2008 (first digit is year, second & third are the month).  The final 4 digits are the actual serial/production number for the amp. The YCS series is basically a 2 channel foot switchable Plexi/Twin set up.  The added "boost" on the lead channel really makes this a 3 channel beast with TOO MUCH headroom!  Enuff tone choices in the 2 preamps (separate tone stacks for both channels) to copy a Fender Twin or a JCM800.  And, she EATS pedals ALIVE if you let her (2 FX loops in back, FX volume pot on each channel).Traynor made a 50 watt version and this 90 watt version, both are no longer in production as a combo.  Only the 50 watt is being offered in a head now.  Truly an overlooked and under rated gem of an amplifier! This particular amp was used extensively by a full time touring band from Toronto, I bought her a year ago and put a lot of love into her these last few months to make her shine once more: a new handle, a new 10' Hosa stereo cable for the channel/boost pedal (included), new black metal corners (8 of them), new Ruby power and JJ preamp tubes (professionally biased), new Accutronics reverb tank (long style, 2 spring, exactly to spec), plus she's been cleaned thoroughly, inside & out.  She WAS a mess on the outside when I got her: the grill cloth was stained dark brown with beer & dust.  She a beauty now.  The only thing I didn't replace was a loose power switch (couldn't find the exact one, don't use 'em much anyways: I use the power strip in my FX rack), so I bypassed it.  She's always on now when she's plugged in.  The standby works great though.There is some wear to the cabinet on the back (see pics), at the edges in the back only. I left the cab rash to show what a "trooper" this amp has been.  It really has been burned in nicely.  It KNOWS it's here to ROCK.  Comes with the Roadie brand case shown in the pics, with the big soft rubber wheels underneath.  If you ever had crappy hard small wheels attached directly to a cab before, and had it shake tubes loose from being rolled on concrete, you'll appreciate big soft rubber wheels when transporting this baby.  Not made of thick enough wood to be an ATA certified case, but it'll do great for driving everywhere to gigs.  Of course, I've seen airports ruin gear in the strongest of cases.  Or just plain loose stuff.  The XLR output on the back sounds a lot like my H&K Red Box, set to "4x12" voice and runs BEFORE the power tube section/output, so you can plug this in late at night and record after everyone else is in bed, but with the output sound being totally off at the master volume stage.  So MANY things this baby does: the USA/UK switch places tone stack before or AFTER the preamp, a la Fender (before) or Marshall (after), the scoop switch makes this a metal head's dream, the reverb is drenched wet at 100%, great for surf.  This thing will flat out amaze you.Best plexi combo MADE IN NORTH AMERICA for the money, and when you include the total and recent professional bench work she just had (receipt included), plus all the cosmetic work I've done, and all the new parts, the new tubes & pro biasing, PLUS the pro road case!?  She's got many many more years of rock to come. Abell Audio let her run for 4 hours straight on the bench and she just purred like a kitten the whole time.  All the solder joints have been double checked, everything is up to par and doing what it was designed to do.  You will LOVE her, or you can send her back, it's that simple.  I'm not out to scam anyone.Her previous owner was the original purchaser, and I was told that this amp has seen pretty much every ski resort and fishing club in Canada, and a lot on this side of the border, mostly in the Rockies.  She's been road hard and put away wet, night after night, for her entire life.  With this recent tear down, thorough cleaning, rebuild with upgrades, pro re-tube... she's back in black, baby, and ready to rock.  Ships in the road case, plus that'll be boxed in foam (case is 31x31x13 including wheel height).  Final package will probably be 36x36x16 & 80 lbs, at least. Amp is 10.5x27.5x21.5 and weighs in at 56 lbs (the special light-weight stock Celestion Vintage speakers really make this a VERY light 2x12 hundred watt combo amp).  YES, you read that right: she only weighs JUST 56 POUNDS!  Bring a half stack of tube goodness to your gigs without the back breaking ritual of HAULING AMP to & fro!  Hell, it's only 7 lbs more heavy than the 1x12 YCS50 version.I will drive to meet someone within a few hours of central Ohio (this side of the Mississippi) if you throw me a little gas money (1 day round trip & prepaid only).  Grab this while you can instead of spending twice as much for a comparable Marshall 2x12 one hundred watt JCM800 combo.  These sold new for $1050, without the case.One more thing: the knobs in the photo?  That's not random.  This thing sounds downright MEAN with these settings.  There are just SO many ways you can go with this amp, so many different tweaks to the sound.  One thing is: you will NEVER be bored with her!
