'THE VALVE' 3/100 Handmade Boutique 100/50 Watt 3 Channel Head in Black 4 x 12 cabinet not included 'The Valve' was launched in the mid-90s on the initiative of Galeazzo Frudua, a renowned Italian luthier, and, since 1988, owner of Frudua Guitar Works, one of the leading electric guitar manufacturers in Italy (www.fruduaguitars.it). The initial project brief was to construct a versatile 3-channel electric guitar pre-amplifier for use in Frudua showrooms. In 2001, upon completion of a phase of rigorous testing, Galeazzo Frudua entrusted the development of the project to , a Bologna-based electronics specialist whose clients include important stylists, banks and government institutions. In 2002, manufacture of 'The Valve' amps got under way.
The following year, Galeazzo Frudua decided to put guitar production on hold to dedicate himself full-time to the manufacturing and marketing of 'The Valve' amplifiers. In 2004, 'The Valve' was unveiled to foreign buyers at the Frankfurt Music Messe, where it was rapturously received by public and critics alike.Today, in 2009, 'The Valve'-brand amps are distributed across several countries, the range now including four models with sufficient scope to satisfy the needs of just about any guitar player in terms of sound, versatility and ease of use. All 'The Valve' amps are hand-crafted in San Lazzaro, a town in the province of Bologna, in the north of Italy, by a team of musicians and technicians who leverage their unrivaled experience and expertise to take a very pro-active approach towards finding the right sonic solution.Our mission is to support the guitarists by providing them with the sound and the flexibility to make their music as unique as they are.
