I am not a drum expert nor fine metals expert. I picked up this drum from a local seller and didn't get any information about it. It appears to be silver but I couldn't find any markings on it to indicate origin or material that it was made from.
All I know is that it appears to have been made well, sounds great, and it doesn't have any major damage, cracking, or problems, as you can see in the pictures. It's a great conversation piece, beautiful show showpiece, and good sounding drum for playing. I'm not representing this to be a drum made of pure silver, since I can't confirm it either way. Selling as is. If you recognize any of the art on this drum and can shed some light on its potential origin, please share. I'd love to learn more about it if an expert on eBay spots it. If it doesn't sell right away, I will be lowering the price a little at a time until it sells. I won't be responding to any deep discount offers.
