KURT COBAIN from NIRVANA Autographed KALAMAZOO USA GUITAR NO RESERVE!!!Signed by Legendary lead singer/guitarist of genre creating band NIRVANA! We've recently spoken with the signer of the certificate of authenticity, Scott Velvet who owned Hollywood Rock N Country. They used to buy and sell a lot of collectable entertainment oriented collectables. He purchased this guitar from memorabilia collector Robert Johnson from Memphis Tennessee. See Mr. Johnson's signed letter (included) stating he purchased this from Pete Alenov, a vintage guitar collector who was selling signed guitars from celebrities at the time. The guitar was signed for Mr Alenov at a Nirvana appearance in the early "90's by Kurt Cobain. Kurt would buy guitars at pawn shops and sign them to give away or smash them on stage but never wanted them to be "hung on a wall" but rather played on. We've pictured a receipt for a purchase of one such guitar with Kurt's name on it from Top Kick Jewelry and Loans in Tacoma, WA (not included, we only have digital photo). Hollywood Rock N Country sold this guitar to our collector through Greg Manning Auctions in 12/99. See paperwork (included) from Greg Manning auction in the past, hammer price was $3738US and sold to our collector and current owner who we are selling this for. No Case or Bag included or any paperwork. Comes with Hollywood Rock N Country Certificate of Authenticity, Mr. Johnson's signed Letter of Origin, Bill of Sale and Auction Description paperwork from Greg Manning auctions. Will be well packed in a guitar shipping box. This guitar does not have strings on it.
