Up for sale is a rare guitar. Possibly one of the rarest guitars our store has offered for sale. This is an Art Esparza Custom Shop Masterbuilt Stratocaster in wonderful condition. It was created entirely by Mr. Esparza making it especially collectible in the Custom Shop heritage of Fender. It boasts a crimson red transparent finish, original COA, case candy and tweed guitar case. The ash body has a strong flame detail with consistency and prominent figuring throughout. The weight of the guitar is 7 lbs 2 oz and is outfitted with a set of Fender's Noiseless single coils, dialed in to give a full rich midrange character without any hum. The neck was sourced from Eric Clapton's locker at Fender (where Fender stocks the parts to build Eric Clapton's personal touring instruments as needed). It has a soft V profile with 22 frets and incredible maple figuring as well that matches Eric Clapton's preferences. The guitar was originally custom made for a VH1 executive who was involved in the creation of the Eric Clapton "Unplugged" concert. All of the electronics function as they should, with a trio of Fender Noiseless single coils with gold pole pieces. The pick guard is white pearl style which sets off the stunning red finish in only a way that red and white can do.  The guitar is cosmetically near mint with a few faint finish scratches in the clear coat on the back of the instrument. A museum piece for your collection or for a musician to love and enjoy.
