1987 Les Paul Custom Lite. Incredible guitar here. Truly a vintage masterpiece. This one is in players grade and should be played because it plays and sound awesome. First off, it has a lot of dings the worst of which is that little chunker on the corner of the headstock ...which when you look at from the front you is barely visible. However it all contributes to the vibe in my opinion because I personally dig the aged yellowed binding ( which has actually been imitated by gibson and others) and the way it plays off the gold hardware. Hard to see in the photos but it is all nicely yellowed. No breaks , warps , truss rod or unmentioned structural issues involved here.-None of the original stuff is included. This guitar has had numerous upgrades.- Gotoh locking tailpiece and bridge-weight 8.2 pounds- neck pickup is a 57 classic with the A2 mag swapped for a rough cast A5 mag and mounted Peter green style out of phase ( makes just about the nastiest middle position HONK ever) -the original coil tap was replaced with a regular tone- treble pickup is a Seymour Duncan Custom 5-Tuners are planet waves auto trim locking tuners- Fret Job was done by JIM Mouradian here outside of Boston, the best guy around for fret work. Unbelievable job. Frets laid over binding for more real estate, PERFECT intonation all over the board. a 360$ job , receipt included- comes with pickguard , pickup selector washer thing, and very high quality aftermarket CNB case.Ask me any questions you wish!
