Banjo Type: Made from an old bucket Number of Strings: 5


Bob Thornburg minstrel style banjo with mahogany neck. The pot was made by slicing off the top portion of an old bucket. Looks like something tried to chew it's way into the bucket at some point. This is a very unusual banjo and it sounds super. The head is good and tight and it is strung with gut strings. They make the plastic Nygut strings sound like plastic/crap. Nothing sounds better than gut strings on these banjos. THE POT IS 14.5" in diameter. You can watch and hear me playing this banjo at
