Up for auction is a gorgeous Fender American Vintage 64 Jazz Bass in Daphne Blue finish with matching headstock. I purchased it in Nov 2014 and played it 3 times at home and has sat in the case for 2015 and 2016. Like new condition with absolutely no scratches on back, nicks or dings on the headstock, etc. It comes complete with all paperwork (not photographed), accessories including black strap, cord and new strings as well as original hard shell case in equally pristine condition. I changed the pick guard to a 1964 reissue tortoise shell one because I think it looks much better than the white one. The original white one is included as well with the plastic wrap still intact on it. Also included is a Fender strap that I purchased separately in beautiful matching light blue, silver and black. It was NEVER USED and still has its original tag included with the paperwork. I can ship Greyhound package express for about $80 coast to coast NYC to Los Angeles so please inquire about what the rate would be to your town. I am listing this bass guitar with shipping rates through USPS ground but please be aware that there is probably an additional balloon charge added to the rate listed because of its size. I am always surprised with extra fees when I go to my local post office with larger packages so please be aware of this. I am happy to ship Greyhound or USPS depending on what the buyer chooses.UPDATE ON SHIPPING AS OF 1/6/17: I took the bass in case down to my local post office today and inquired about actual shipping rates. The USPS calculator is somewhat accurate but a bit off and the insurance is $27 extra on top of the shipping cost. The interested party that inquired about shipping to WI got a shipping rate of $42 online but it was actually $48 plus $27 would be $75 total. I also inquired about to shipping coast to coast NYC to Los Angeles to get an idea of cost. To 90210, it would cost $70 plus $27 insurance totaling $97 insured to LA. So if you win the auction, add $5 to the rate they give and if you want at least $2000 worth of insurance, it will cost an extra $27. I will send a revised invoice after the auction has ended but please be aware of the rates. Please feel free to ask me any questions regarding shipping.
