The RockBass Alien Standard 5 String acoustic-electric bass fills the gap between the double bass and the electric bass. It provides a wealth of opportunities for expression and adds an extra dimension to the musician's domain. Unusual styling in the convenient cutaway, the off-center asymmetric soundhole, add to the uniqueness of the overall shape and warm tones of this acoustic model. Today, Warwick designs are already classics. Their innovation and contemporary appeal are always present in the whole RockBass range, too. The 5 string Alien is 34″ scale with a body constructed on a laminated Spruce top with laminated Bubinga sides and back. The laminate construction of the bass helps stabilize the bass, in addition to providing extra strength for the body of the instrument. The neck is Mah with a Rosewood fretboard with 24 frets. Equipped with Fishman electronics. Tuners:
All RockBass instruments come standard with high quality precision tuners (20:1 ratio). Warwick tuners feature a sealed, self-lubricating gear that warrants high tuning stability and needs no maintenance.Truss rod cover:
