The Antigua model was available on the Fender Coranodo, the Telecaster and the Precision Base (I think).1978 and 1979 were the original issue of the Antigua Stratocaster. This one is ALL ORIGINAL. The front of the body is near perfect. There is some paint damage around the tailpiece strap button. (see photo). Other than that it has very little to indicate its age. This Antigua is a 1979 due to the pickup dates. 1976 in ballpoint pen, 1978 ink stamp and 1979 ink stamp. The wiring and solder joints all look original to me. Note the paint damage by the tail end strap button. There are two very light finger print sized wear points on the fingerboard, that do not show in the photos; they are just thru the clear in position one. This Strat seems to be on the heavy side, so if you like light weight she is not for you. The original case comes with it, and the condition is Used, but very nice. I will only sell this guitar on eBay, so bid if you want to purchase. DO NOT call me after the auction has ended trying to low ball the price.
