Everyone remembers the great Jimmy Page soloing on his double neck Gibson.  This Epiphone G-1275 Custom Double Neck is a great way to feel and look like Jimmy as you are jamming your best Stairway to Heaven cover. This G-1275 Custom is stamped "2nd" on the back of the headstock, and has been given a new serial number.  This guitar was sent to our refurbisher where it was taken out of the box, set up and returned to the box.  It had no repairs done.
Epiphone celebrates the 50th anniversary of the British Invasion with the return of one of its most iconic and original designs, the Ltd. Ed. G-1275 6-string and 12-string Doubleneck. The Ltd. Ed. G-1275 Doubleneck once again makes one of rock’s most iconic instruments available to the world at a price anyone can afford. The G-1275 is based on the vintage original “1235” Doubleneck that was first produced at the legendary Gibson/Epiphone Kalamazoo, Michigan factory in 1963. It quickly became one of the most sought-after and original guitars in rock. It was not only embraced by British rockers like Pete Townshend of the Who, Jimmy Page of Led Zeppelin, and John McLaughlin but also Elvis Presley and bluesman Earl Hooker. When Epiphone first reintroduced the Doubleneck, it too became a legend thanks to The Flaming Lips. Now, it’s back again with that one-of-a-kind sound at an affordable price. The SG Story When the SG or "Solid Guitar" was introduced in 1961 as a replacement for the Les Paul, it was called the "fretless wonder" for its low frets and fast action. The twin horn cutaway design was like nothing on the market and its light but balanced weight made it the perfect guitar for stage and studio work. The Les Paul Custom SG featured 3 humbucker pickups, and since then, the SG has became the go-to guitar for artists like The Who's Pete Townshend, Tony Iommi, Paul Weller, AC/DC's Angus Young, Jimmy Page and Derek Trucks of the Allman Brothers Band. The original “1275” capitalized on the SG’s stunning looks, futuristic sound, and lightweight mahogany body. Now Epiphone brings the guitar back to life as only we can.
