John Fogerty Owned and PlayedWe are proud to offer this beautiful 1931 Dobro Resonator owned and played by John Fogerty. We have looked for ages for one of John Fogerty's guitars and this is the only "true" one that we have ever seen on the market for public purchase. He is next to impossible to find. This one was given to us by Peter Trauth, who also provides a hand-written letter discussing how it was obtained from George Gruhn, of Gruhn Guitars in Nashville, TN where John Fogerty resides. This one is a gem. In the original sunburst, all original parts with the exception of the tail-piece, which we can't confirm. As it is from 1930's, it has some players wear (see pictures), which for us, makes it even more special as we know who played it. Please feel free to email us with any questions you have.
