This is a vintage Gibson LG-1 acoustic guitar in very good condition. Comes with original hard/chipboard case in good condition. I purchased this from Bill's Music in the early 1990s and I've honestly barely played it over the years. 99% of the time when I play, I play electrics.This guitar at a glance looks really very good although it does have some wear and flaws. It still does sound great though and has that characteristic vintage Gibson sound you would expect. The finish has some flecks and minor scratches. On the front note the small scratch in the lower left and two small flecks on the upper left to the side of the fretboard.On the back are some minor flecks and overall there are some minor striations in the finish. Some minor cracking in the finish in some spots, no cracking in the wood. This guitar has a plastic bridge and as is common with these guitars and bridges it has lifted a little bit. Enough to fit a guitar pick underneath it in the back of it.It is still very playable and sounds good. A luthier can make and refit a new bridge if you desire.I'm selling this at a very competitive price due to that issue. If you look on ebay for this model you'll find almost all of them are listed in the $1500-$2500 range.The case is good condition with wear and two hinges have broken - but it's done a good job of protecting this guitar through the years.I will also include a Seymour Duncan Woody acoustic pickup and an unused set of Martin strings.Sold as is. No returns.Based on the serial number this guitar was manufactured in Kalamazoo MI in 1966 or 1969The guitar can be picked up in NYC free of charge or shipped for $50 in the continental U.S.
