Up for auction is a Fender 68 Custom Deluxe Reverb guitar amplifier. It is lightly used but in perfect working and excellent cosmetic condition. Because I lived in a humid environment, the metal plates on top have flecks of corrosion forming. The same can be seen on the metal pieces that secure the carrying handle. The included foot switch has a small chip where a spot of corrosion has begun to form on the outside of the casing. These are small cosmetic blemishes that in no way affect the functionality of this amp. I will also include a Fender cover for the amp that I have never used. ***Auction includes the amp, power cord, foot switch and amp cover only. The effect pedals pictured and instrument cables are not included***1968 was a transitional year for Fender amps, with tone that was still pure Fender but a look that was brand new. With a silver-and-turquoise front panel and classy aluminum "drip edge" grille cloth trim, the Fender Deluxe Reverb received a fresh face as it remained the ideal recording and performing amp. Small, light and moderately powered, it produced big tube tone, with worldclass Fender reverb and vibrato effects.
