The Ibanez GB10BS – some details to know Let’s start with the basics: the Ibanez GB10BS has 22 medium frets, spruce top, maple back and sides, 3-way pickup selector, two tone controls, two volume controls, and two special George Benson floating humbucker pickups. The body is a smaller sized, single cutaway design that is more comfortable to play, while offering the thick Jazz tones you would expect from a larger body. The thicker spruce top, in conjunction with the smaller body, serves to reject feedback. The back and sides of the Ibanez GB10BS are maple with a brown sunburst finish.
