François-Xavier Bazin (born 1824) was an important French archetier and master bow maker, and was first of the Bazin dynasty.
This beautiful masterpiece of a violin bow was made ca. 1850.
The very beautifull stick is masterly decorated (very rare) and is made from the finest wood ( round shaped stick).
Elegant and refined typical design.
The total length of the stick is around 69.1 cm (44 size) and the weight of the bow is around 79 gr.
