Here is an new style API lunchbox loaded with four Capi VP312 mic pres made with authentic vintage API parts. Capi did a fantastic job designing the vp312 the greyhill stepped gain switch and t-pad attenuator make these feel special. In the mid to late 70's API started loading their mic pres with Jensen input transformers. These have always been my favorite version of the API mic pre. I made these up for some mobile sessions I was doing and no longer need them. I realize these are more expensive that most vp312s that come up for sell but when you factor in the cost of these original vintage components these are a bargain.
