Hofner VerithinThis beautiful Verithin was made in Germany in 1962/3 and is a lovely originalmodel fitted with original Bigsby. I purchased it some time ago from the son of the firstowner who used it for home use. It was always lovingly played and cared for.It has a stunning red amazingly clean body with full binding to the body, neck, soundholesand headstock - a sign of quality - the neck is glued in and is an unmarked condition; with a rosewood fingerboard containing twenty-two frets with full width double mother-of-pearlfret markers. The headstock has lovely mother-of-pearl inlays, with original tuners and original nut.The scratchplate is still present showing a small ''Champion'' sparkplug sticker whichcould be removed. There are two ''staple''pickups with black surrounds and each withvolume and tone controls.The body is undamaged apart from a small hole (see last picture) where a strap pinhas been removed causing this damage - this could be repaired but it causes no problem.It is all in a superb condition, great player and comes with its original Selmer hardcase.Any questions please email or call/text on 07544 887582.
