Hi,This is a brand new MKH416, but I am not a professional retailer. I bought this mic as backup thinking I would need it for a paid gig and it would pay for itself, but as sometimes happens that did not work out. I am a professional news/current affairs P/D, and this is the shotgun microphone I have used for interviews for a decade at least (or to be honest which has been brought and used for me by sound-people). I have another one, and will be keeping it. I bought a cheap one on eBay, and to my amazement on checking with Sennheiser it turned out to be a counterfeit, so beware. Who would guess people are bothering to counterfeit this limited market mic? This is not a counterfeit, guaranteed, it is the genuine article. The best short-shotgun for talking-head interviews that I know of. I would be happy to answer any questions.Thanks for your consideration.BestJohn

These latest pics are of the actual microphone you are bidding on and the paperwork which comes with it. Still brand new unused genuine etc, but now offered without the plastic seal around the box you see in the first pic. Thanksjohn
