Details: This Steinway L has a crisp tone.
The action is not heavy like most pianos in this vintage. Very light and fast.
The piano will be serviced to our "De Capa" Level 1 service package. You might me why.
Figure about 6 to 8 hours to set up the piano to our Level 1 Service Package.Even though this piano has Teflon bushings it does not affect the touch or tone.
Teflon is a great material as it does not gum up like felt. This is the perfect piano for a Student. And if you find that after 2 to 5 years you would like to trade up to a Steinway Model B I will give you everything that you paid for the piano less cost to ship it and pick it up.The finish on the piano is very nice. There is some Patina on the lid and arms. Patina is a slight cracking of the top laquare clear coat that Steinway used in the 1960's to the 1970's. But at a distance of 3 feet you do not see it. No need to spend $5,000 to refinish it.
