This Fender Custom Shop 1962 Relic Telecaster is on order and due into us very soon. As soon as it has arrived we will take a set of photos and up load them to this page. We have lots of Custom Shop models due in over the next few months, but none have excited us as much as this Blue Sparkle version. It takes an authentic look and traditional vibe, and then twists in some enhanced player friendly modern day specifications and features. This ensures any demanding performing player or collector will be delighted with this guitars looks, tone and feel.This 62 Tele takes you back to the early years of one of modern music’s most electrifying decades. Its lightweight double-bound alder body features a Relic lacquer finish that authentically conveys the look of years of wear and tear, and signature Telecaster snap and sparkle comes from hand wound 1963 Telecaster pickups with three-way switching and modern wiring. Other premium features include a one-piece tinted quartersawn maple neck with a comfortable mid-’60s oval “C”-shaped profile, 9.5”-radius rosewood fingerboard with 6105 frets and bone nut, three-ply mint green pickguard and vintage hardware.
