We are delighted to have in stock this totally lovely premium quality Heavy Relic Tele. Close your eyes and think of a classic vintage spec original guitar, and its a good chance your be thinking of one of these. This especially sought after Fender Custom Shop instrument is the much admired 1951 Heavy Relic Telecaster. Influenced and packed with DNA from arguable Fenders most historically significant guitar, this version features a Nocaster Blond finish with period correct neck profile any player orientated 9.5 radius fretboard, so will be sought after by both collectors and performance players in equal measure. This Custom Shop Tele takes the essence of an authentic build and specifications, and introduces some excellent contemporary tweaks, to ensure it produces an effortless and intuitive vintage inspired performance. From a Tele players point of view this version is perhaps the perfect coming together of old and new. This guitars Telecaster snap comes from dual hand wound Nocaster pickups with three-way switching, modern wiring and Fender’s Greasebucket tone circuit, which rolls off highs without reducing gain. Other premium features include a tinted maple neck with a Nocaster “U”-shaped profile and 9.5”-radius maple fingerboard, 6105 frets and bone nut, single-ply black Bakelite pickguard, vintage bridge with compensated saddles, and vintage Fender-logo tuners.
