Up for auction is a Bach Stradivarius Corporation model 37 trumpet (serial number 212805). The bore of the horn is ML at .459". The bell is 4 3/4". This horn looks beautiful and plays very well, with a big, full tone. The valves have excellent compression and feel very mechanically sound, with no wiggle from side to side. As for the aesthetic condition of the horn, there are a few small scratches, as well as some light pitting and some very light rippling in the bell section. There are also a few small dings throughout the horn. All this is visible in the pictures, and none of it affects the playability of the horn. This instrument has been professionally cleaned in our shop and repaired to full playability. This horn is not lacquered; therefore fingerprints should be wiped off after use if the player wished for the horn to stay as shiny as it is now; if they are not wiped off then the horn will develop a lovely patina.
