Description 1965 Hofner Verithin 4574 Semi Hollow Guitar Serial Number #3541 As vintage Hofner guitars go, the Verithin is one of the better known; it was good looking, lightweight, and a more than effective instrument: it had an adjustable truss rod and reasonable pickups. They are highly desirable to collectors. Service History We pride ourselves on our inspection and set up of each guitar, making this ready to plug in and play. Cosmetic Inspection Please have a close look at the high resolution photographs below, as these form part of our description. This Hofner is in good condition for its age. It has the original nitrocellulose finish with natural checking; a gorgeous patina! The frets are in fantastic condition. In our opinion, this is all original other than a replacement truss rod cover. Summary Overall, this is a very rare and collectible guitar.
