Gibson Southern Jumbo 1948 Gibson SJ, 1948, sunburst, FON # very unclear, but specs around that year.. could be 47 or 49 as well, features Spruce top and Mahogany back and sides, mahogany neck, bound rosewood fretboard with double parellogram inlays, this beauty is almost 70 years old and has cool Looks, yes it has a few cracks that are expertly repaired, The guitar is all original except for changed kluson style replacement tuners that didn't make extra holes, the bridge is still original due to the timely excecuted neck-reset, it's refretted once with vintage correct frets, nut and saddle are changed, It comes with low action enough bone saddle to last at least 5 years before excecuting a neck reset. This is a guitar you would play for hours, since it weighs practically nothing has that beautiful groove and mojo that brings every singer songwriter in the right flow, with that perfect dry vintage tone.
