Description

Original 1951 Fender No Caster / Telecaster Neck
TG 9/10/51 (Tadeo Gomez!)This Neck Date is right near the end of the Nocaster Era - So it's safe to safe this was either a No Caster or one of the first Telecasters everNeck has new frets, new decal (from the late 60's), and overspray (The work was done by Fender in the late 1960's!)The "777" stamp on the back of the neck is from the Fender Factory when the neck was sent to the them in the late 60's
Appears to have Original Finish still present on most of the neck under the overspray
The fingerboard appears to have been very lightly sanded prior to the refret and overspray
Some very cool Mild Flame on the back of the neck in the right lightRefreted with modern sized fretsNewer Tuners (had different tuners on at some point creating some extra holes) and Bushings - current repro tuners work great! This neck came off an original 1951 Pine Body Fender No Caster - The body was painted black at some point, that is why there are traces of black on the neck butt from where it rubbed against the body
Original nail hole on the neck heelThis neck is very comfortable.  Medium Profile. Soft V in the lower position and fades into a nice Medium D ShapeOverall this is an incredible neck
Restore your Blackguard!Ive added a photo to the bottom for comparison.  This is a picture from the Blackguard Book.  This neck was made about 2 weeks after this one!  Check out the similar neck date and signature - Very cool!!
