This is a 1955 Fender Deluxe tweed amp. Dated August 1955 (EH date code) which was the first year of the 5E3 circuit. Needless to day, it sounds amazing!This amp is in fantastic shape with all original parts included along with the original cover. All repair work was done by Andy Fuchs of Fuchs amps. Here are the details;The Good: all original parts are included. Original speaker, original transformer, pots, grill cloth and baffle. Original cloth wiring. Tweed covering is tight with a few dings; shows wear appropriate with its age. Original cover included (although it is torn and dried out and in a fragile state it's still a great piece to have.) The Bad: there's really nothing that I can say that's bad about this amp. Several caps and two tubes have been replaced; original power cord was replaced with grounded 3-pronged cord. All replaced parts are included, except for the original handle which was replaced with a period correct leather handle. Asbestos insulation inside back panel has been covered with new insulated tape.
