The Porter & Davies BC2rm drum throne is a two-unit system consisting of the rackmountable Engine - a unit that contains an amp, preamp, inputs, outputs, protection circuitry, and volume and tone controls - and the throne top. Setup is a breeze - you simply set up the throne, put a mic in your kick drum, connect the mic to the BC2rm, connect the supplied speakON cable, then turn the BC2rm on. Next you feed in your toms and snare drum thanks to the BC2rm's line input.
