PLEASE NOTE: I'm currently on holiday and so this item will not ship until 24/01/2017Gibson USA Explorer 2016 T Electric Guitar in Ebony.The guitar is new but cannot be sold as such due to a number of imperfections. The back of the guitar has many hairline marks that will show up in lighting at the right angle. A lot of them are not deep and so it may be possible to polish them out but this black surface is really difficult to work with, so I wouldn't count on it. I've managed to catch some in the lighting in the pictures but there are a lot more than that, confined to the back of the body. Secondly if you look at the sides of the neck where it joins the body, the paint along the edge is not smooth. It is warped or not applied accurately. If you look at the neck pickup there's a few minor marks too.On the plus side the guitar is fully functional and if you look at the fretboard images you can see it's clean and new, so for the right person this is a bargain.
