Alright, now we're talking! This all-original vintage Rickenbacker 4001 bass really brings the bottom end like no other! This is one of the most full-bodied, deep, and warm Ric's we've had in a long time and it's also a beauty with the natural Mapleglo finish. 9.0 lbs on the dot so it's comfortable and well balanced. The years have nicely aged the paint and maple so it's a great color. Normal amount of paint wear for a well loved bass of this vintage. It looks like the very end of the fingerboard had lifted a little and was glued back down. It would not photograph but you can feel a little seam from the nut to the second fret. There is a small pickguard crack by neck pickup mounting screw and it has been fixed as well. It plays so nice and easy you won't want to put it down. You'll get lost for hours, getting to know every inch of the neck. The nut measures 1-5/8" wide and the profile is medium to medium/thin for a Rickenbacker bass. It never feels thin but at the same time it isn't at all "chunky." 33" scale length. Give us a shout if you have any additional questions on this killer.
