3 availableThese strips were part of a modular console concept that the famous compressor company, Fairchild, offered 40+ years agoFairchild FIC Vintage Discrete Console StripsThe FIC's were part of Fairchild 's modular console concept of the 70'saround the time of the 663 solid state compressor18 1/2" long x 2" wide x 4 1/2" deepone will fit in two rack spacestwo will fit in three rack spacesand can supply wiring information to winning bidder ($35 if purchased separately)all knobs and faceplate included (faceplate is black)uses an Ampex 458-0100-10 mike transformer made in W Germany 10 7on each strip, from the top down you will find1 detented pot to selest any of the 8 busses or off1 detented pot to switch between input/compressor/outputVU meter1 detented pot for Hi freguency selection selects between 2, 3, 4, 5, 7 and10 kHz2 detented pots for L and Hi frequency + or - 10 on 2 db increments2 Pots for Compressor release and Compressor (thinking this is amount of compression)3 switches for Mike/Line, Echo Pre/Post, Pad In/OutEcho Send pot10 mm faderAs with all pro audio items of this vintage, the item is being sold untested, as-is and may need going thru by a qualified tech to bring it up to full potential.
