Garrett Park Guitars1996 Gibson Custom Shop Les Paul Ruby SlippersFor your consideration, Garrett Park Guitars presents this 1996 Gibson Custom Shop Les Paul Ruby Slippers.This guitar was custom ordered by Chuck Levin's Washington Music Center. At the time Gibson allowed dealers to special order limited editions for their shops. It is one of four made, and was named "Ruby Slippers" as its red metallic paint resembles the red slippers worn by the Wicked Witch of the East and, more iconically, by Dorothy in The Wizard of Oz. We bought it recently from a collector.In excellent condition it has only a small amount of discoloration where the gold has been worn from the bridge. Comes with its original brown hardshell case and "zebra" '57 Classic pickups. The guitar is based on a Custom Shop Les Paul Standard with '50s style neck, Nashville bridge,"zebra" '57 Classic pickups, maple top, mahogany body neck & rosewood fingerboard.In collector condition this guitar also sounds and plays great too.Serial Number: 6 9902Condition: Excellent plusPhotos of actual guitar (no stock photos).Please call, chat, or email for more information...
