An LP Style guitar from Master Luthier Ken Lawrence is extremely rare - the only two known ones are James Hetfield's and this one. This is the Kenneth Lawrence Medicine Man Snakes Singlecut LP. I'm the original owner. The guitar was completed in 2010, and was refinished by Ken in 2016. Ken originally had it finished in poly, but the poly lifted a bit around the control cavity, so Ken took it back some time ago and refinished it in his signature oil/wax. I haven't had it back since he refinished it. The refinish was completed a couple months or so ago, and it is in Ken's possession, so if you buy it soon, you'll get it direct from Ken. As Ken said, "The top/inlays look so much better to me with the Oil finish. It is pure elegance!!"One-of-a-Kind, this guitar is in brand new condition, but brand new this guitar was $26,500, and Ken's wait list is years long these days. The guitar is in brand new condition because Ken just refinished it. It is the sister guitar to James Hetfield's KL Dragon Singlecut - Ken made up this guitar with the same wood at the same time.It weighs 9 lbs 10 oz, and sounds as amazing as you'd expect from a KL LP. This guitar is solid, full thickness, no belly cut, no weight relief.I've been liquidating my gear for several years, and this doesn't fit into my bare bones setup today.
