Beautiful 1992 'black cherry/wine' les paul standard, phenomenal flame figure over the maple top visible through the dark cherry finish. This is a very nice playing & solid les paul standard - well loved with marks and natural patina commensurate for this now classic 25year old guitar, out of storage and listed for sale as surplus to my inventory. Zero issue, no breaks/cracks. It has the slimmer '60 style neck as per 'standard' for this Nashville era - comfortable ease to play with a very fast action, holds tune perfectly. Tuners, 'Nashville' bridge and tailpiece, metal output jack plate are original to the guitar. Fitted with ThroBak MXV DT-102 ltd PAF pickups - incredible clarity, dynamic, presence and tone - from the original run by Jon Gundry Rare pups that cost a fortune on their own! These pickups are double black/double white bobbins underneath the aged nickel covers as per the clapton 'beano' guitar. Complete with 50's style repro wiring harness. w/black bumblebee caps Historic M69 pickup rings. Black reflector top knobs. Original Gibson 5 latch fitted brown case with pink lining and silk cover - solid case zero issue. I have and will include the original gold speed knobs, scratch-plate with the sale incase you wish to switch/add back in. Would ideally like cash on collection of the guitar or I may consider delivery within a reasonable distance to Somerset!
