Kay Speed DemonThis is a great guitar for blues, made in the early sixties by Kay in the USA.It has a ''tobaccoburst'' finish which does show some wear and tear mainly on the frontfrom use over the last fifty years or so.It has a single ''speedbump'' pickup which shows some tarnishing but sounds just as itshould and has volume and tone controls - nice and simple.The bridge is wooden and adjustable and the tailpiece is the original trapeze model.The neck is bolted on with three large inset screws and the rosewood fingerboard has nineteen frets - the headstock has the ''Kay'' logo, truss rod cover and the threeon a side tuners.This is an all original guitar missing only its scratchplate which could bereplaced if required - all working well, and is a desirable guitar for blues - notso easy to find nowadays especially in the UK.Any questions please call on 07544 887582 or email.
